How to Reassign Run Sheet Jobs

From time to time an officer may not be able to complete all of the jobs on their run sheet. Officers can request that a job be reassigned from the mobile application. These request appear on the dashboard where admins can reassign the job to a different officer.

Reassign a Run Sheet Job

The "Reassign Requests" section of mobile patrols provides a list of all jobs that have a request for reassignment.

 You can reassign a job in 3 ways.

  1. Reassign to another runsheet in progress
  2. Reassign to another runsheet that has not yet started
  3. Convert the task as a dispatch and assign to another user

Reassign to another runsheet in progress

  1. Select the "Mobile Dispatch" tab from the Live Dashboard.
  2. In the mobile dispatch menu, select the "Reassign Requests" option.
  3. Locate the job that will be reassign in the list of request and click on the [Reassign] button.

4.     If officers are clocked-in and available, they will appear in the box to the right to accept the job.

5.     A status bar would differentiate patrols who are currently in a runsheet. Click on the Patrol to reassign the job.

6.     If no officers are available at the time, or you would like to assign this job manually, click on the [Filter by user] box, and type the officer you would like to assign this job to.

7.     To confirm 'Reassign this item to this runsheet' Click [Save]

Note: The officer should receive a notification on their device pertaining to the new job.

Reassign to another runsheet that has not yet started

  1. Select the "Mobile Dispatch" tab from the Live Dashboard.
  2. In the mobile dispatch menu, select the "Reassign Requests" option.
  3. Locate the job that will be reassign in the list of request and click on the [Reassign] button.
  4. Click on the Patrol to reassign the job.
  5. If no officers are available at the time, or you would like to assign this job manually, click on the [Filter by user] box, and type the officer you would like to assign this job to.

Convert the task as a dispatch and assign to another user

  1. Select the "Mobile Dispatch" tab from the Live Dashboard.
  2. In the mobile dispatch menu, select the "Reassign Requests" option.
  3. Locate the job that will be reassign in the list of request and click on the [Dispatch] button.

4.     Available field units will populate on the right hand-side of the screen.

5.     If no field units are available at the time, or you would like to assign this job manually, click on the [Filter by user] box, and type the officer you would like to assign this job to.

6.     Choose and click the appropriate field unit you would like to assign this task to  

Note: The officer should receive a notification on their device pertaining to the new dispatch job.
