How to Access / Create Incident Analytics in On-Site

The incident analytics will begin to populate as soon as officers begin reporting incidents on the site. This section includes a list of preset incident analytics reports as well as the ability to create new charts from the exisiting incident data. Depending on the permissions granted to the officer the views and functionality discussed below may differ.

The incident pie charts provide an overview of the types of incidents reported most often on the property as well the site locations where incidents occur. To access this chart and the other in the incident analytics click on the "Report Analytics" tab in the on-site dashboard. By default the Incident Pie chart will show as the first menu option from the "Incident" menu on the left-hand side.

Trend reports show incident trends over time. Scroll down to see incident trends over days of the week, months of the year, and year over year for the site.

Create a Custom Incident Analytics Chart

Custom analytics can be created in the incident chart builder. Custom reports can be saved to "My Custom Charts" for future use by clicking the [Save Report] button.

When you save a custom report you will have the option to save the report for this site only or save it as a standard report for all sites.

Select the Variable and Subset of Incident Data

Click on the small white triangle in the variable tiles to access the list of options available in that variable. When the pop-up window appears, click on the specific instances you would like to include in the report.

Add the Variables to the Chart X and Y Axis

Any variable tiles that have been modified will change to a dark blue color. If the variable has not been filtered it will remain a lighter blue color. Drag and drop the variable tiles to the X and Y axis.

Select the Type of Chart for the Report

Click on the drop-down menu currently showing "Table" to access other types of charts. Select the chart you would like to use from the drop-down menu to complete your custom report.
