How to Relink Reports

Relinking reports provides a way to change the location where the report was completed. This is most often required for mobile officers. Since these officers have access to multiple sites, they can forget to sign-in to a site. This causes the report to store with the zone rather than the client.

Mobile officers have the ability to write reports at any site in their zone. Officers should always sign-in to a site before writing a report. When officers fail to do this, the report is stored in the patrol zone and not associated with any site. This can mean that the client does not receive the report. Relinking allows admins to locate these reports and allocate them to the correct site.

To relink a report:

  1. From the list of reports, click on the [Relink] button.
  2. Begin typing the name of the site. When the site appears in the list, select the site and click on the [Save] button.
