Note:

  • Before creating zones and sites you should plan your structure and setup. 
  • Zones represent areas and contain sites. 
  • Sub-zones contain other zones and are useful for device assignments. 
  • For more extensive operations, TrackTik may recommend setting up regions.

Devices are assigned to sites and zones. Generally, all sites within a patrol route should be contained in one Zone. Mobile patrol officers will be able to access the different sites during their shift. Each time an officer signs into a site the mobile application updates with the information for that site including: checkpoints, tours, post orders, report forms and emergency contacts.
